Briere It Is The Flyers were a desperate team and they played like it. After dropping the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Flyers took the ice in Game 4 looking to hold off elimination. The Orange-and-Black jumped out to an early lead, scoring three goals in the first period and held on for a 4-2 victory over the Penguins on Thursday night. Joffrey Lupul notched two goals in the win, while Danny Briere scored on a power play for his first goal of the series. The Flyers will travel back to Pittsburgh for Game 5 on Sunday (3 p.m./NBC). |
