Requirements

1. Efficiency in basic television production skills.
2. Efficiency in basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
3. Flexible work schedule capability.

Functions

1. Taking in highlight reels to tape (i.e. Melting).
2. Logging video and entering logs into database.
3. Clipping off selected video onto clip/edit reels.
4. Helping to coordinate, organize, and maintain Tape Library.
5. Communicating with production crew at home and on the road.

Schedule

1. Week by week scheduling.
2. Working game nights.
3. Late nights.
4. Weekends.

Attire

1. Business casual.

1. Schedule flexibility will be important for Interns, as they will often be counted on to work during the season on game nights.  We will work around your school and or work schedules to best meet the needs of our production staff.
2. Interns will be trained in rudimentary tape room skills necessary to complete the functions listed above.
3. Interns will learn and use the database where tape logs are stored for record-keeping purposes.
4. Intens will also help coordinate and maintain the Tape Library during the regular season and playoffs with the Associate Producer.  This will be an important assignment as the Tape Library will house the Flyers Game Melts that are crucial to editing and archival needs.
5. Interns will get exposure to a professional remote production unit setting and gain valuable television production experience.

Required Information

• If there are certain schedule limitations and or requirements with your school that we need to know, please submit them to us as soon as possible.  We are more than willing to work with you on any school requirements you may have.
• Personal laptops are not required but would be a welcome asset for use during the internship.
